A few years ago I moved from the occasional EBay listing to setting up at local shows - starting on Ottawa's Geek Garage Sale circuit, and then setting up at some of the smaller local shows. I also try to make the trip to Toronto's Sport Card Expo at least once a year.
I decided to put some branding and proper structure to the business, and when looking for a name, I was thinking about what I collected (and why), and where I wanted to focus on things. The bottom line is I believe in collecting for the hobby, I loved going to shows and hanging out with like minded collectors/geeks, then setting up at shows allowed even more time to connect with others in the hobby. I'm a firm believer in collect what you like over chasing the next hot commodity in the market, as well as finding ways to welcome the next generation of collectors into the hobby. All of that goes into the name concept of Relive the Fun - if it's not fun, why bother, and for me memories of the toys I played with as kids, through to the fun times at conventions is where the fun is. I hope you join me on that journey
No physical storefront, but I tend to update Facebook as to where I'm showing up next for a show - and as I can't bring everything to a show, I'm always happy to put things aside and bring them to the next show for you - just let me know.
